My take on 3D printing

In the current inflated economy, 3D printing has become a cost effective way to take the rapid evolution of technology and combine it with the minds of makers like myself.

Being able to create a 3D model with a software on my computer is one part. But then also being able to create a real life version of that computer file with my 3D printers has changed my life.

And this is how:

What material can a 3D printer use?

FAQ

FAQ

  • What are the models made out of?
PLA+ or PLA Silk Filaments. PLA (Polylactic Acid) is made from renewable resources like corn starch or sugarcane and is reusable
  • Can I make special colour or model requests?
Absolutely! Using the "Get a quote" button will take you to a form to fill out and in the notes you can send any information about what you would like to order. whether it is a bulk order or just a colour change of a model.
  • How robust are the models?
With the way that 3d printed items are created the parts of the model where there is little amount of material is much weaker than where large amounts of material are. For example the pointy parts of some dragons are more prone to break than the linkage systems themselves due to the points not having a lot of material around to support that part of the model.
  • What happens if I broke my model?
Please get in contact with me. Due to the material used on my models I am able to recycle the broken models into a new life cycle for the material. To incentivize getting back the broken models that would otherwise be thrown in the rubbish bins just to go to waste in landfill, I offer a 25% discount on the same size model that I receive back.
